Three Public works - Swimmingpool in Reykjavik 2002 - National Energy Authority and The National Power Company of Iceland 2003
National Energy Authority : Plexiglass cylinders are placed in the middle of the basement floor in a stair opening and arranged on top of each other all the way up to the ceiling on the top floor. The cylinders are filled with alcohol-mixed water to prevent organic decay, the bottom cylinders are shorter with the darkest blue color that gradually brightens as the cylinders lengthen. The stair opening together with the circular mirror are integrated into the work and acts like a well that is looked down on from different heights. Below from the ceiling hang 4 lava stones. By melting the lava it transforms into a black glaze and at the same time forms very fine threads, " witch´s hair " , that reach all the way to the basement.
