Installation in Skálholt south west of Iceland. 44 flags or as many as all bishops since the beginning of Christianity in Iceland on the occasion of 950 years since the consecration of the first bishop in Skálholt. The images on the flags comes from different sources like Iceland´s history, Christian religious symbols as well from other religions also from my own visual world and even from well known contemporary brands. The slower procession of horses and men became more closely related to the procession of bishops and priest who stream out of the church after mass. The flags make a circular form, they turn according to the direction of the wind and when the sun shines they form kind of a sundial.
