I brought to China one block of lava from Eyjafjalljökull in Iceland but the eruption had ended few months before. After my arrival to China I went to Hainan Dao and brought back to Shenzhen a volcano stone which I found near to Haikou city. My work for the exhibition in the end of the 3 months period was based on the unification of these two volcano stones. When I had melted the lava stones together I covered the face of a Chinese woman with lava glass from the Icelandic stone, she covered my face with the Chinese one. To finish the work I made ink drawings of the same material. What is the difference between human beings and volcanic eruptions which appear on the surface of earth at different times and places around the globe ?
