" The art forms and materials which Ásgeirsson has used to present his art and visual imagery thus stem directly from his experience and memories. His method of using repetition in art creation is a reminder of the constant circulation in nature and the passing of time; the journey taken, what happened - even though the places and events themselves are visible to the observer only as a colour, a symbol or the remembrance of light...but with this exhibition a new journey begins and this time it is connected to the artist´s origins and family history, his ties to older works and performances.
