A group exhibition in Hafnarfjörður but the town is surrounded by lava fields which was the theme of the exhibition. Pumice is mainly used in the construction industry such as loading stones. My work was based on this material, a box was bricked by the size 250x250 cm, closed everywhere, sides, ceiling and floor. During the time of the exhibition I melted the stone bit by bit turning the pumice into a black glossy glaze. Finally the box was " transformed " and moved away.
