Memory points is an artist book in one copy. The beginning of the work can be traced back to Kyoto in Japan where I lived from 2002 - 2007. Once I wondered into antiquarian bookshop and spotted old books from 19th century. The visual letters and handmade paper called for a conversation between me and the mysterious pages so I bought some of these books. I started to handwrite notes in Icelandic over the letters that was already on the page without having any idea about the content. Anyway I did not finish the book before I moved back to Iceland. Many years later when Dulkápan, an electronic publishing, asked me for a work to be published I decided to finish the book by adding more memory points.
