For a long time I have been interest in ancient alphabets such as the Chinese, Native American signing and Egyptian hieroglyphics, the picturesque beauty. The work I exhibit is a conversation between the alphabets of the world and remelted lava which is glued onto plates and can be interpreted as the languages of the world; the raven enamel suggests pictography and rhymes with the characters to create a harmonious and comprehensive view of the subject.
