" On the Edge " was an international event in Norway where artists were invited to make artworks in different lighthouses. " The lighthouse: a symbol of safe home, of close-by danger, of hope and of welcome. Poised between land, sky and water, there can be few more poignant buildings - few places with such a potent present and raw, emotional past. " My work for this project was an installation in Tungunes lighthouse close to Stavanger. The title " In the room of the lighthouse keeper ", glass bottles of brandy and fish oil, colored water, halogen light on timer. Outside close to the ocean, a boat carrying plastic bags filled with colored seawater were attached to wooden poles swaying in the wind.
