Poésie Infra-Visuelle 2025
The work is a dialogue between letters from various alphabets and lava glaze, all together 80 sheets A4 seize that form a whole around a picture in the middle with a stamp from Iceland of the volcano Hekla erupting 1947. The performance at the opening: A lava stone is placed on a plinth, on the floor is a bucket with red ice cubes. I lift the stone off the plinth as high as I can, walk out of the gallery, turn around, stop in front of the bucket and drop the stone into it. I place ice cubes in both hands, clench my fists and walk towards a nearby corner. The ice cubes start to melt and red filament run along the wall as I feel the pain. Once the ice have melted I open the door, enter and return with a tray of lava glaze to invite the guest.
