The Nuances of the Water - Dieter Roth Academy 2010
" The watercolors are created in the moment as the music is performed by the instrumentalists. The hall is darkened, the water is projected by the light onto the empty screen, I let drop of color into the water and the audience/viewers travel with these ever changing images that appear and disappear at the same time. " Description from EXPO in Japan 2005. " Evocation of eruption - cooked on site " Dieter Roth Academy in the Factory. My work was inspired by the eruption in the glacier Eyjafjallajökull which caused enormous disruption to air travel across Western Europe when an ash plume that rose a height of 9 km got into the air. Materials : Lava stone melted on ice, feathers, wild flowers and ash from the volcano.
