Two different art projects in Reykjavík and surroundings which were realised after my journey to Mexico 1982 - 83. The imagery were taken from my drawings in the Mexico diary. A mural was painted on a wall at my mother´s house in the beginning of June. In end of August I put up a flag installation on top of Úlfársfell mountain close by the city. The drawings were painted with acrylic colors on various cloths like sheets, duvet covers and curtains which I got from people after advertisement in a newspaper. The flags were then mounted on 5 meters high bamboo rods and left for two months on the mountain but were taken down at the end of October after a hard fight with the autumn storms.
