Halldór is the third artist to stay in Wonderland offering visitors insight into the process behind his artistic creation. His art have always been intertwined with his life and travels around the world. The connections between different parts of the world are clearly visible in his lava melting works. Through them he demonstrates the links between distant places by melting lava from various origins and producing a similar black glaze. In a wall drawing he envisions it like tree rings relating to Skaftáreldar eruption 242 yeas ago which led to great suffering in Iceland at the same time sulfur-rich volcanic plumes were dispersed towards Europe. In a circular space sulfur is put on silver blades for a certain time before it is on shows.
